Seeds Of Light Break Free

Pinpricks of light seen through the tree leaves turn into sweeping trails in a hot summer's day in York, England. The technique used is fun: either add a dark filter to your lens, or go for a very small aperture (f22 or f32 - remember we don't care about image quality as we're about to ruin it anyway), and turn the ISO down to 100 so that you can get the shutter speed to around 1/2 second without all the highlights blowing. You can recover some of this later if you shoot in RAW mode. For this shot, I just fired and panned in an arc.
